Chedworth Village Hall Wedding
Vickie got in contact with us at the beginning of 2014 to discuss her Chedworth Village Hall wedding.
After we exchanged a few messages via our facebook page we met up at the venue to discuss what we could do. We discussed several options in terms of transforming the village wall into a suitable wedding setting.
Vicki decided on some wall draping leaving the doorways to the kitchen and outdoor areas accessible. Consequently this allowed us to cover up the various wall features such as notice boards and children’s drawings of various dinosaurs (as good as they were!). Finally in addition we also provided runs of organza ceiling draping with fairy lights inside to mask the false ceiling tiles.
We arrived at the Chedworth Village Hall the day before the wedding right after the morning gym class. We got to work straight away and by the early afternoon we were nearly done. This allowed plenty of time for the furniture to arrive and for the bridal party to get everything setup.
As you can see below the difference our draping can make to the venue and we’re glad to report everyone had a fantastic late summer wedding!
Once the wedding reception had finished we returned to Chedworth to dismantle which took us around two hours. This meant that the client was able to vacant the venue by midday as requested by the venue without additional charge.
During our installation we were spotted by someone who was having a Wedding here the following year. They saw our work and booked us on the spot. We’re glad to report they also had a fantastic wedding!
