Stonehouse Court Hotel is a local Wedding venue that we have provided services at previously however we were super excited about this booking with Michelle as she wanted us to completely transform the room and we just love getting our teeth stuck into a big project!

The day started at 7 am on the day of the Wedding due to the venue have a function on the previous night so it was certainly a case of all hands on deck to get everything ready for the post ceremony parts of the day.

Fuelled by coffee and of course the traditional bacon bap we cracked on and by midday we had finished off the room with draping all around the room leaving the two entrance doors along with the kitchen access doors and two fire exits down the side. We added in an ivory starcloth section which worked perfectly behind the top table which means all of the photos of speeches and sitting down at the top table have a rather nice backdrop (which suited the Christmas ambience that was present during a December Wedding).

We also added in some pink uplighting around the room which not only added a bit of colour against the white drapes but meant we had a nice soft ambient light rather than the harsher in house strip lighting that is present at Stonehouse Court.

The bar area at Stonehouse Court is actually around the corner away from the main room so here we placed our light up LOVE letters which proved very popular and a number of guest photos were being taken throughout the day.

We then came back later in the day once the wedding breakfast had been concluded to install our white LED dancefloor alongside a disco we also provided on the day. The evening reception was a fun and energetic affair with lots of dancers (mainly looking at their feet on the LED dancefloor).

Once we had finished and being thanked by guests, clients and the venue staff themselves the long process of dismantling began and vacated the venue 20 hours after we arrived, happy in the knowledge we had taken part in a very successful Wedding for Michelle and her guests.
