Hilperton Village Hall

Amy got in touch with us regarding her Christmas themed Wedding at HilpertonĀ Village Hall down in lovely Trowbridge (Wiltshire). The hall was very special however it was slightly dated and needed transforming.
With most Village halls the access time was rather restricted due to events taking place the evening before so we set about late on the Friday night to get everything setup and ready for the following day.
The great thing about village hall Weddings is that it really is a team effort and a couple of hours after we all started the venue looked completely different. We wall draped all around the room leaving a couple of doorways uncovered (however covering above them using our new valance drapes). We then added some of our LED uplighters set to white to give the room a nice soft lighting feel (much better than the harsh inhouse strip lighting and being in December this was ideal for both Wedding breakfast and evening reception). The transformation was then completed once we added in the warm white fairy lights which “zigzagged” across taking the focus away the venue ceiling itself.
The best part was yet to come on collecting on the Sunday morning when both guests and the bride and groom were very happy with how their day went along with the transformation we achieved together with the finer touches as well as the draping we provided.
